Using the Calculator
- Enter the length, width, and thickness of your job.
- Select the thickness in feet or inches.
- Click on Sub Base Stone, Drainage Stone, or Custom Density.
- Click on the Calculate button.
The calculator will estimate the number of tons of stone that will be required. Please note that densities will vary somewhat between different loads, but the default values assigned for Sub Base Stone and Drain Stone are good standard "rules of thumb" for estimating.
